Well we arrived at Gma and Gpa H’s house after a long, eventful trip from MN to SD. Snow, wind, ice, puke and slow drivers were some of the things we encountered. We were pretty glad when the five hours were up and we arrived at Gma and Gpa’s. Someone may or may not have smelled like vomit, but they didn’t mind.
Avery recovered from what appeared to be motion sickness and moved right in to Grandma’s. Grandma had a cradle all ready for her babies and she knew just what to do.
As usual, food is being consumed in mass quantities. This is Caramel Apple Bread and its the most delicious thing EVER!
The kids have been eating their weight in cookies.
And “helping” out in the kitchen.
Avery also made good use of a tiny rocking chair. For herself AND her babies.
I don’t know who took this picture, but it turned out cute. Love how Avery has moved in on Natalie’s monkey.
It wouldn’t be a trip to my parents house without some fun costume changes! Found this fun hairpiece in the basement while I was searching for leotards and leg warmers. Didn’t find the leotards and legwarmers, but finding this was fun!
You have to toss your hair around when you have long locks.
More binging that had to be documented.
And it wouldn’t be a binge party without pizza! We had several different kinds. In fact, 2 of those kinds are sitting here uneaten as we all ate WAAAAY too much of the other kinds that were out of the oven first. Ah well, more for tomorrow!
Check it out – a Christmas pizza!
Jon was upset to discover that this cracker tin was spoken for.
I even had my Dad sign off on it the last time we were here. It will be mine. Oh yes. It will be mine. Muahahahahhahaa
And finally, pukey magoo gets the stench off of her. Only kidding – she only had stink on her clothes. But she DID need a bath. She enjoyed the bubbles a lot. Made up for the lack of toys.
Well, that is all for now. Join us for more later, won’t you?
