Pizza Party!

On Saturday night we had a pizza party at Grandma and Grandpa Wikoff’s house.  Who doesn’t love a good pizza party?!  Especially one that gets topped off with a movie AND homemade popcorn?  Seriously – these kids better know how lucky they are and more importantly, how awesome WE are.   I mean – COME ON – LOOK at these pizzas.  Be ready with a napkin to wipe the pile of drool away.DSC_2670This crust could not have been more easy.  The recipe can be found here.  It is pretty darn good for how easy it was and how little time it took to throw it together.  No lengthy rising period, very little kneading.  Seriously – give this a whirl – you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Schroeder children for actually LOOKING at me when I asked (grrrrrr Dylan!). DSC_2676

This is the best he can do?  Sheesh. DSC_2677

autiful pizza! DSC_2685Avery got yet another new nickname this weekend.  “Num Num.”  Lately she has been begging for food constantly.  When she really wants something, she says just starts saying, “nummy” or “num num.”  Hence, the nickname.  We add this one to her ever growing collection of nicknames.  Squares, Bubbles, Avos, Avey….the list goes on and on.  DSC_2686An

other purdy pizza.  This one had a Red Pepper sauce that was fab.  We used Trader Joes Red Pepper with Eggplant and Garlic.  Delicious!  Toppings include fresh mozzarella, mushrooms, olives, onions and hamburger.   DSC_2687 DSC_2688 DSC_2689 DSC_2690

Ok, you may now go make your own pizza!  You know you want to!

The movie we watched was Toy Story 3.  This morning, Dylan and I were discussing his Christmas list and he made sure that I did NOT include Toy Story 2 or 3 on the list.  “Toy Story 1 is okay though, Mom.  There is nothing scary in that one.  I do NOT like that scary guy in Toy Story 2 and that baby is just so sad in Toy Story 3.  I don’t like that.”  Okay, Santa has been informed!

Later!
